Invited to her gay cousin's birthday dinner,
Melanie finds that dinner isn't the only
thing on her mind. Comedy film about a
straight girl fantasizing about her experience
with being with a lesbian.
"The DL Chronicles: Boo"
Dir: Deondray Gossett, Quincy LeNear, 2007, USA, 35 min
An unreconstructed Black male (i.e., a playa) named Boo
slings his stuff around for pretty much anything on two
legs and discovers that promiscuity can have consequences
he never imagined.

This documentary short focuses on the creative spirit and the desire
for self-preservation within the L.A. Ball Community.
Includes interviews with some of the legendary house parents
and youngest up-and-coming ball talent.
"BLACK BEULAHS"

Africa, 48 mins, in English and Sotho with English subtitles
If you are a Beulah, you are fabulous in South African
Black gay slang. Fanney Tsimong here gives room to three
testimonies of lives lived fighting stereotypes and
celebrating difference. This is a glimpse of South Africa
that few see and certainly sheds light on one of the most
vibrant Black nations on earth.

Queer hip-hop is a burgeoning cultural phenomenon as seen
in this passionate, enthralling film. Through raw performances
and candid interviews, queer rappers Deadlee, Juba Kalamka, JenRo
and Johnny Dangerous defiantly break down the barriers
of contemporary hip-hop.
